QAH WAH

Explanation:

The business, named after Qahwah, a town in Ethiopia where coffee was first found, opened its first place in Kadıköy Historical Bazaar in June 2012. The family’s tea and coffee habits of the owners Ziya İpek and Suat İpek brothers brought the tendency to this work. Before opening this business, they worked in some similar places and reinforced their knowledge.

In Qahwah, the Turkish pronunciation of which is Coffee, when it was first opened, Turkish coffee was dominant. Later, it created a modern concept by reflecting the tea culture to the youth. With the growth of the industry, western coffee brands began to enter the market, and Qahwah began to renew itself. Qahwah has all types of coffee. In fact, Mr. Ziya states that there are three types of coffee in the world, namely Filter Coffee, Expresso and Turkish Coffee, and states that all coffee types are created by grinding them.

Saying that despite the negative effects of the pandemic process, he has plans for the future and that they want to continue their growth by opening new branches, Mr. Ziya states that he has plans to open shops especially in London and California. He states that especially the USA is a country that is very open to innovations and that although they are an incredible consumer society, they do not know enough about Turkish coffee yet.
