Pak Cigerci, which started its operations in 1927 in Kadıköy Historical Bazaar, in the same place where it is still located, is now run by Aykut Anik, the third generation owner of his family. Looking at the years that have passed, it can be said that it is one of the oldest of the Kadıköy Historical Bazaar. The owners of Pak Cigerci, who have been working on offal with a well-known understanding of quality for years, are a family of Balkan immigrants. Aykut Bey, unable to break his father’s will, did not think of undertaking the continuation of the work and doing another job. “Our people, with the doctor’s recommendations in the media, use their preferences for offal,” he says, and says that many of his customers, who believe that trotter and tripe are good for the flu, use these products as medicine.
