Opening its first location in Dumlupınar Street, one of the most lively streets of Kadıköy Historical Bazaar, in 1991, Göğüm Cafe Bar opened its second location on the same street in 2000, years later. After the first opened place was closed in 2006, it continues its activities at its current address.
Providing service in the form of a Cafe, Bar and Pub, Gugum Bar serves beer, raki and wine drinks. There are meat, fish, chicken and liver as hot varieties in the kitchen where 20 different appetizers are made every day.
Gugum Bar, where you can enjoy food and drink accompanied by foreign folk and Turkish folk music given over the Internet, also has the distinction of being the first Cafe Bar of Kadıköy Historical Bazaar.
Students who came to Gugum Bar, which consists of more than half of its customers during their university years, continue to come today as respected professionals such as doctors, lawyers, colonels and teachers.
