A delegation of three, consisting of Architect Serap Öbekçi, Head of the Department of Studies and Projects of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Architect Devrim Çimen and his assistants, Architect Ecem Can, will carry out an examination and exploration trip in Kadıköy Historical Bazaar, and carry the commercial and tourism development studies suitable for the region’s structure to the projecting stage.
Kadıköy Historical Bazaar Association President Ali Geçgel and the members of the board of directors accompanying him, the IBB Delegation was welcomed in the bazaar, the main arteries and some historical buildings were introduced on-site in the bazaar, and the needs of the council to develop the commercial and cultural values of the bazaar were explained on the spot, and enlightening information was provided on the development projects planned to be made.
